Dates and Cost

Course Prerequisites:

Wood Badge for the 21st Century is open to all registered adult leaders who have completed the basic training requirement for their primary position.  The basic training requirement generally consists of Fast Start, New Leader Essentials and Position Specific Training.  Scoutmasters, Assistant Scoutmasters, Varsity Coaches and Assistants must complete Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills in addition to the above requirements.  Outdoor training is not required of other leaders.  Additional training details can be obtained for your District Training Team.  

Dates:

Participants MUST attend ALL of the following course activities in order to complete the practical phase of the training.  

First Weekend: March 3-5, 2006 (Friday thru Sunday) at Plymouth Bluff

Plus one interim patrol meeting. 

Second Weekend: March 24-26, 20006 (Friday thru Sunday) at Camp Seminole

Note: Required arrival time for both weekends, by 8:00 AM.

Cost:

The fee for the Wood Badge Training experience is $175.00.  A non-refundable reservation fee of $25.00 must be returned with your reservation form.  

Suggested Payment Dates and Amounts are: Initial- $25, October 1- $50, December1- $50, and February 1- $50 for a total of $175.  Provisions for a course cap, T-shirt, program supplies, and food are included in the fee.
