Mike Hughes began his Scouting career as a Cub in Clarksdale, Miss., and earned First Class with Troop 44 in Kosciusko, Miss. From 1984 thru 1990, Mike worked with the Andrew Jackson Council Friends of Scouting Campaign, 1994 thru 1998 Worked with Young Kerby/Pushmataha Area Council Friends of Scouting Campaign in Ackerman/Choctaw County, MS, and he has served as Chartering Organization Representative and Committee Chairman for Pack 41, as well as Scoutmaster and Asst. Scoutmaster for Troop 41. Mike has been honored by our council with the Boy Scout Leader Training Award, as well as the Scoutmaster Award of Merit.

Mike is a Brotherhood member of Watonala Lodge, Order of the Arrow, and served as an adult leader on Philmont Trek 629-N2.

Mike also serves at the council level, as a Pushmataha Area Council Executive Board Member, and as the Chairman of our council's Financial Oversight Committee.

BSA WILL INCREASE NATIONAL REGISTRATION FEES, EFFECTIVE JAN. 1, 2010.    READ ABOUT IT HERE.  
The annual registration fee for a Scout/adult will increase to $15.00 effective 1/1/10. all units with an 2009 charter date will pay the current fee and all units rechartering starting 1/1/10 will pay $15.00.
