T-3 Looking Ahead to T+14

When we return home that day we will need to remain together as a troop until after we have performed several chores. At a minimum we will need to clean the bus and unload the equipment truck.

We realize that this will be a school day for many boys (Day 2 of school for Amory students.) It is unlikely that we will arrive back in time for school attendance that day. Please do not plan on your son attending school that day.

The process of cleaning the bus and unloading the gear will go faster if parents wait until after we are back for a few minutes before they arrive. We will stop a few minutes before we are through to let the boys call their parents. (We will provide an approximate time for parents to arrive when we are in Tuscaloosa.)

We will dismiss as a troop. Please do not ask to take your son away from the troop before we are dismissed as a troop.

Our final item as a troop will be a brief awards presentation. Segment patches and other prizes will be awarded to troop members at this time. You/your son will want to be present for this event.
