T-4 Things to do on the Bus

We'll have about 16 hours each way on the bus.

Although we have planned several activities for our bus ride such as learning the Troop 1523 Jamboree Song (all 17 verses), weaving camp stools out of straw and making our own custom Troop 1523 woggle (this is for real) we'll probably have a little free time.

The bus has a DVD player.

If you would like to, you may bring your pre-approved DVDs. Please bring a list of the titles you would like to bring on Wednesday night. we will check them out and then send the approved list to the troop on Thursday.

The age range of our participants will be from 12 to 17. Many PG-13 titles are unsuitable for this setting, but some are. Think Pirates of the Caribbean or Harry Potter.

(On a related note, if you have any material that would be unsuitable for everyone to watch, don't bring it at all. That includes movies you may have downloaded onto your iPod or other similar device.)
