Online training is just the beginning of your training.  It helps you the "hit the ground running", but for many Scouter jobs, there's also some basic training that you'll need to complete. The basic training sessions offered by our council are outlined below.

Boy Scout Basic Leader Training is done during one weekend, from 6:00 PM Friday until 5:00 PM Sunday.  Training covers Scoutmaster Fundamentals, and Outdoor Leader Training (OLT).

The cost for the training is $60.00.  This includes all meals, and all materials.

Before arriving for BLT/OLT, you will need to have completed the following online training: "This is Scouting", "Fast Start for Boy Scouts".  You should also take time to complete "Youth Protection" Fast Start training.  These courses can be found at www.MyScouting.Org.
