Memphis Grizzlies Scout Day
The Memphis Grizzlies will be having a Scout Day on Friday, January 15, 2010, as they play the Minnesota Timberwolves.   Tickets have been heavily discounted for Scouts and Scouters, and there will be a chance for Scouts to participate in some of the game festivities, camp out at the FedEx Forum, and watch movies on the Jumbo-tron.

Details of the Boy Scouts 100th Anniversary Celebration:

When: Friday, January 15th vs. Minnesota Timberwolves

Ticket Cost:
$15 (reg. $47/$35 seats) – Boy Scouts and their leaders discounted cost (Upper Level seats)

$25 (reg. $47/$35 seats) – parents/Non Boy scouts discounted cost (Upper level seats)

$50 (Regular $82 seat!) Lower level seat option for Boy Scout Night

Free Tickets: Each troop leader who purchases 10 or more tickets will receive 2 complimentary tickets. The tickets will be in the same locations as the troop’s tickets.

Sleepover: Have an exclusive event, from immediately after the game until 6 A.M. consisting of:

Boy Scouts 100th Anniversary Camp Out! Following the Memphis Grizzlies versus Minnesota Timberwolves game the Boy Scouts of America will be entertained by movies on the jumbo tron and interactive elements on the concourse. They will Camp out at Fed Ex Forum until 6 a.m. inside on the Grand Concourse.

Color Guard: A Boy Scout troop representing multiple councils will present our nations colors during the national anthem.

National Anthem: A Boy Scout performer will sing the national anthem. An audio tape must be submitted and approved by game operations.

Fan Tunnel: Twenty-five (25) Boy Scouts will high-five both the visiting and home team as    they make their way onto the court.

In-Game: During the in-game entertainment, Boy Scouts will participate in a skit with Grizz  and other members of the Boy Scout council celebrating their 100 year anniversary.

Halftime: At the conclusion of halftime, a select group of Boy Scouts representing each council in attendance will be brought out and recognized at center court as part of a 100th anniversary ceremony.

Halftime PSA:The Grizzlies will allow Boy Scouts to play an approved 30 second PSA at the  conclusion of half-time to raise awareness about Boy Scouting.

Fundraiser: Discounted seats for the the Boy Scout 100th Anniversary Celebration.  Each Council has the option to raise the ticket cost $5 for fundraising purposes.

Added Exposure: The Grizzlies will provide a visible concessions bay in the main lobby for Boy Scouts to sell Popcorn throughout event and to pass out information about Boy Scouts. The Boy Scout will give ticket buyers a voucher which once they leave FedExForum they can redeem for their Popcorn.

Outreach Incentive: The Boy Scouts will receive an offer for One (1) free ticket with the purchase of a paid ticket to a November game that they can use for incentive for being a Boy Scout.. This also will get troops excited about their upcoming night.
