VENISON DONATION

Camp Seminole residents Nate Ingle and Bob Anderson process some of the 16 deer donated by the Mississippi Dept of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks from research hunts.  The meat is used to feed Scouts, leaders, and camp volunteers.

  

BOLAND COPE COURSE IMPROVEMENTS

(left) A crew from Four County EPA sets the poles for the new High Ropes Course on the camp activity field.  Funding for the project is coming from the Boland Memorial, Starkville Rotary Club, Four County EPA, and the Omnova Foundation in Columbus.  The course is now rigged for action, and includes a Grapevine, Catwalk, Giant's Ladder, Rickety Bridge, Hour Glass, and a 300 foot Zip Wire.

(right) After a hard day's work, the 4 County crew was treated to rappelling off the tower they built over ten years ago.

 

 

ALPHA GAMMA RHO FRATERNITY AIDS CAMP SEMINOLE

 

 
The AGR Fraternity purchased an electric clay target thrower for the Gladden Brooks Field Sports Area at Camp Seminole.  Shown here presenting the thrower are AGR members Cody Walker and Trey Varn.

The Alpha Gammo Rho Fraternity has adopted the the improvement and maintenance of the Gladden Brooks Field Sports Area of Camp Seminole.  They held the Second Annual Crawfish Boil during Super Bulldog Weekend to raise funds for the work.
