| TROOP 14 SCOUTS MEET CONGRESSMEN |
| April 29, 2005 |
| Troop 14 provided a
color guard and flag ceremony for the grand opening of Aurora Flight
Sciences in Starkville, Miss. The scouts had the opportunity to
meet Congressmen Chip Pickering and Roger Wicker.
On display at the new facility was a Hunter II reconnaissance drone like the ones Aurora will be building here. After taking their pictures with the Congressmen, the scouts enjoyed the speeches, and ate lunch with visiting dignitaries. (The scouts also thought it was a great reason to miss a few hours of school...) Scout leaders Mark Guyton and Donnie Buckner accompanied scouts Jacob Engelken, Hudson Woomer, Murphy Buckner, and John Guyton for the event.
