The professional staff would like to thank Kathy Elliot and all of the volunteer staffers who made our Fall Cub/Other Weekend a roaring success.  More than 525 participants enjoyed a full weekend of fun and adventure by participating in the many events planned out and staffed by Kathy and her gang.. An additional thanks goes out to the moms of Kathy's Pack who served almost 600 glasses of grape Kool-Aid in record time.  THANKS AGAIN!

Halloween can be a really scary time, unless you're at Camp Seminole.  Pack 13 hosted a great Cub Family Camp, with 500 participants, a Council Ring Campfire, great food, and plenty to do.  Each of the photos below opens up to a 800 pixel wide photo.

The Nita Chito Scout Museum is always a favorite with the Cubs.  Curator B3AR Ellis gives guided tours, and occasionally lets a Cub try on one of the historic campaign hats.

Archery and air rifles were popular with our Cubs.  Each shooting event was overseen by officers of the Mississippi Game And Fish Commission, who generously donated their personal time to teaching safe shooting practices.

Adults and youth who made the age cut were able to rappel down the high side of the rappelling tower.  Jennifer watched big brother rappel with the only member of the family who hasn't come down the tower... yet.

Pack 14 Cubmaster Russ Hayes takes his first-ever trip down the tower.   Buoyed by nerves of steel (a requirement for all Cubmasters), Russ stepped out into space, walked down the tower, and gave a mighty shout at the end.
