LANDSCAPE
ARCHITECTURE MERIT BADGE CLASS
May 8, 2004
T45 ASM Glenn
Cook (also MSU Associate Professor in Landscape Architecture) opens the
Landscape Architecture merit badge class with the basics.
Over 45
scouts from all over the council took advantage of ASM Cook's class
offering.
ASM Cook
offered the merit badge class as one of his Wood badge tickets in Wood
Badge class SR-516.
Not only did
the scouts get to take a class at MSU, but they got to take the Landscape
Architecture class in the MSU Landscape Architecture lab, just like real
college students; plus, they learned the material from a real landscape
architect and university professor.
T27 SM Artis
Ford and T14 SM Gary Windham hold high level discussions in the lab
parking lot prior to the start of the class. They reached the
decision that 8:30 was too early for them to be up on a Saturday.
