| Two flag raising
ceremonies, canoe races, teepee building contests, Indian dancing,
drumming, songs, herbal medicine, archery and tomahawk throwing
contests, council ring, skits, food (and food... and food... and...),
chapel, awards, tents, campfires, and more fun than can be listed filled
the three days at Camp Seminole. The few photos from the
weekend and the awards summary that follow tell only part of the
story. Program Directors for the weekend were Frances Wells and
Jeff Miller. Special thanks for special service go to Frank and
Cinda Brent, and the Drum and Dance Team from Watonala Lodge #169. |
